Getting Started with FiveM & RedM

Set up your FiveM or RedM server using the txAdmin web panel.

Prerequisites

Before starting, you’ll need:
  1. Cfx.re Account - Create one here if you don’t have one
  2. FiveM License Key - Generate one from Cfx.re Portal

Step 1: Order Your Server

  1. Visit vexiumhosting.com/games
  2. Select FiveM or RedM
  3. Choose your plan
  4. Complete checkout

Step 2: Access Your Server

  1. Check your email for login credentials
  2. Go to the Game Panel
  3. Click on your FiveM/RedM server
  4. Click Start to boot the server

Step 3: Access txAdmin

Once your server starts, you need to set up txAdmin:
  1. In your panel, look for the txAdmin URL (usually shown in the console or startup info)
  2. Open the txAdmin URL in your browser
  3. You’ll see a PIN displayed - make note of it
  4. Click Link Account
  1. You’ll be redirected to the Cfx.re login page
  2. Log in with your Cfx.re account
  3. Click Yes, Allow to authorize txAdmin
  4. Create a password for your txAdmin admin panel
  5. Click Next

Step 5: Configure Your Server

Server Name

  1. Enter a name for your server
  2. Click Next

Select a Recipe (Template)

  1. Select Popular Recipes
  2. Choose a template:
    • CFX Default FiveM - Basic FiveM server (recommended for beginners)
    • CFX Default RedM - Basic RedM server
    • QBCore - Popular FiveM roleplay framework
    • ESX - Another popular FiveM roleplay framework
    • Other community templates
Start with the default template if you’re new. You can always add frameworks and resources later.
  1. Click Save or choose a different path
  2. Go to Recipe Deployer

Step 6: Deploy the Recipe

  1. Review the recipe configuration
  2. Click Next
  3. Enter your FiveM License Key from the Cfx.re Portal
  4. Click Run Recipe
  5. Wait for the deployment to complete
  6. Click Next
  7. Click Save & Run Server

Step 7: Your Server is Ready!

Your server is now running! You can:
  • Access the txAdmin panel to manage your server
  • Connect to your server in-game using the server IP and port

Finding Your Server Address

Look in your game panel for your server IP and port (default port is 30120). Example: 123.45.67.89:30120

Connecting In-Game

FiveM:
  1. Open FiveM
  2. Press F8 to open console
  3. Type connect YOUR_IP:PORT
  4. Or use the server browser to find your server by name
RedM:
  1. Open RedM
  2. Use the server browser to find your server

Generate a License Key

If you haven’t generated a license key yet:
  1. Go to Cfx.re Portal
  2. Log in with your Cfx.re account
  3. Navigate to Server Keys or New Server
  4. Fill in the details:
    • Label: A name for your key (e.g., “My FiveM Server”)
    • Server IP: Your server’s IP address
  5. Click Generate
  6. Copy the key and use it in txAdmin
