Getting Started with Satisfactory
Set up your Satisfactory dedicated server and start building factories with friends!Prerequisites
- A Vexium Hosting account
- Satisfactory installed on your PC
- Your server’s IP address and game port
Step 1: Order Your Server
- Visit vexiumhosting.com/games
- Select Satisfactory
- Choose your plan based on player count and mod usage:

Step 2: Access Your Server
- Check your email for login credentials
- Go to the Game Panel
- Click on your server
- Note your Public IP and Game Port (default is usually 7777)
Step 3: Claim Your Server
Before you can manage your server, you need to claim ownership through the in-game Server Manager.Your server must be running and fully initialized before you can claim it.
Open Server Manager
- Launch Satisfactory
- From the main menu, select Server Manager
- Click Add Server
Connect to Your Server
- Enter your Public IP address
- Enter your Game Port (found in your hosting panel)
- Click Connect
- If successful, the server will appear as Unclaimed
Generate a Claim Token
- Select your server inside Server Manager
- Click Claim Server
- Copy the generated Claim Token
Enter Claim Token in Server Console
- Open your hosting panel
- Go to the Console tab
- Type the following command:
- Press Enter
Confirmation
- The console will confirm ownership
- The server will change from Unclaimed to Owned
- You can now set an Admin Password and configure settings
Step 4: Configure Your Server
Once claimed, you can configure your server settings:- In the game’s Server Manager, select your server
- Click Server Settings
- Configure options like:
- Server name
- Admin password
- Player limit
- Auto-save settings
Step 5: Start Playing
Join Your Server
- Open Satisfactory
- Go to Server Manager
- Select your server
- Click Join Game
- Create a new session or load an existing save
Invite Friends
Share your server details with friends:- IP Address: Your server’s public IP
- Port: Your game port (default 7777)
Troubleshooting
Server Shows as Offline
- Make sure the server is running in your hosting panel
- Wait 1-2 minutes for the server to fully initialize
- Check that you’re using the correct IP and port
Cannot Claim Server
- Ensure the server is fully started (check console for “Server is ready”)
- Verify you’re connected to the correct server
- Try restarting the server and attempting again
Connection Timeout
- Double-check your IP address and port
- Ensure no firewall is blocking the connection
- Contact support if issues persist
